After 13 years of financing my own projects, I need help funding the Lefty project due to its scope and magnitude. I’m doing the project in phases when we have the funding to complete each phase. The first phase has begun and is budgeted at $10,500. I’m crowdfunding directly with donors vs Kickstarter and Indiegogo, as they take a 5% cut of all donations. I may use them to fund other phases. Phase one covers this first round of critical interviews, and I’ve received 30% of the funds needed thus far, which is wonderful. We need $7,500 to achieve our goal.
Below is a menu of donation opportunities and gifts. The Ebbets Field 1934 cap and jersey are amazing—that’s the tour Lefty helped bring Babe Ruth to Japan! There are some cool vintage SF Seals jerseys available at the same donation point for the 1934 USA jersey.
Let me know if you’d like to be a part of the project and Phase One, and if a gift might be of interest to you. You don’t have to select the gift at your donation piece point. For example, you might like just the cap and/or a signed copy of Lefty’s excellent biography by Dennis Snelling. Some donors only wish to donate and forego a gift, which is another option. All donors will receive screen credit.
You can donate either by sending me a check or via PayPal. Check is preferred due to PayPal fees, but either is fine. Checks would be made out to Evzone Media and Experiential, LLC, 17447 Napa St., Sherwood Forest, CA 91325. My PayPal account is Evzone Media and Experiential.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you so much in your interest in the Lefty O’Doul project!
